** Which type of NR is best for NAD+

There are several forms of NR on the market today. Below is an overview of which is best for creating NAD+.

1. NR (nicotinamide riboside). This form does create NAD+ but needs to be refrigerated because it degrades at room temperature. Also, this form rapidly breaks apart in stomach acid.

2. NRCL (nicotinamide riboside chloride) UltraHealth and Niagen uses this form (ours is 99%+ pur, Niagen will not post their purity). It creates NAD+ and is shelf-stable, meaning it does not need to be refrigerated. NRCL still degrades in the body's stomach acid and needs to be in an Entric capsule. UltraHealth is currently the only company providing liposomal coated entric capsules.

3. NR Hydrogen Malate; Thorne and others use this form. They are trying to get around specific patents for NRCL which UltraHealth's product has no issue with due to our propretairy synthesis and delivery method. No studies have been made on this form to conclude that it creates NAD+.

4. NR-E (patent pending) Elysium. This is just normal NR. The patent pending has been dormant since 2016 and will not be approved. Still this company likes to use the term to make it seem special for marketing purposes.
